A. Daisy Multimedia recommends cards from the following brands:Dane-Elec, Toshiba, Infenion, Twinmos. DM 334 works very well with other brands too, but sometimes problems may occur with non-branded or low-quality cards.
Q. When the device is switched on the card, the icon of the card does not appear on the display.
A. Change current media to "Card".

Q. Where I can find menu languages for my DM 334?

Q. How big card I can use with DM 334?
A. We have tested with 512mb SD cards.
Q. Slow copying from/to DM 334 WinXP.
A. In Windows Explorer right-click on the Removable Drive as which the device appears. Choose the "Hardware" tab, and select your device from the list. Press the "Properties" button, and then choose the "Policies" tab. Then, click on "Optimise for performance."
Q. I can't use as Web camera in windows XP?
A. The files that Windows XP finds automatically are the drivers for Windows 98, not for XP. To install the drivers for your web camera correctly, please do the following: The camera has to be disconnected from the USB port.
• Uninstall the software from [Start]->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove programs->Daisy Multimedia [Change/Remove]
• Press [Start]->Run...
• Type: %systemroot%\inf and press [OK]
• In Windows Explorer from the menu "View"->"Explorer Bar" choose "Search".
• Enter the following settings for the search:
Find all or part of the file name:
*.INF
A word or phrase in the file daisy
Look in:
inf
Press [Start]
• Delete all files you find.
• Choose the "Web Cam" mode on the camera rotary switch.Connect the USB cable to the camera and the PC.
• Power on the camera.
•In the "New Hardware Found" wizard choose
(x)Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)
(x)Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
• Select the path to the driver:
[CD]:\install\system\Web2kXP
• On the next screen press [Continue Anyway]. The drivers will not harm or destabilize your system in any way.
• Now you can install the software from the CD again.
• Next, press [Start]->Programs->Daisy Multimedia->Video Capture.
• From the menu "Devices" choose "62(80)XX/DMxx".
• From the "Options" menu choose "Preview".
Q. How to update the firmware?
A. Download the latest firmware version from www.daisymm.com , and upload it to DM 334 memory. Press "UP" + "DOWN" + Power up.
